Lazy Chic

These past few weeks have been very busy and stressful and I have been trying to find ways to be both lazy and chic. Most of the time it is a happy result. We had a couple of very warm days this week where it got back up to tank top weather and I have been meaning to show off this one for a while. I am not a big animal print fan but lately I have been finding more interest in certain items with leopard print. Lazy Chic (3)Lazy Chic (5)

Also, sometimes I feel like I wear jeans way too much so I have been incorporating one of my favorite items into my daily wardrobe (when I’m not at work.) Sweatpants can be very chic if you can accessorize it well.  I don’t think you should go overboard but usually plain sneakers and a cute top, especially cropped will be gorgeous and comfortable. Lazy Chic (8)Lazy Chic (7)Lazy Chic

Sometimes I just really want to look like I don’t care but still presentable and trendy. It’s part of being  young adult I guess. We just want to tell the older generation that we don’t care, like nothing really matters to us. I’m not really sure why that is but It probably has a lot to do with the strict parenting we underwent. I was talking to my parents and they did not have half of the boundaries that kids now have. We are longing for freedom and the only way we can do that at ages 17-23 and maybe older is to not care and live life the way we want, which for me means wearing sweatpants in public. Lazy Chic (6)Lazy Chic (4)

Maybe I’m putting too much thought into it but I always like to think there is a reason for everything. I like the idea of having laid back days and being able to go out and run errands or get coffee with the girls in sweats. You don’t have to go around trying to impress everyone all the time. Sometimes it’s better to just not care.Lazy Chic (2)
