In just over a week I will be in Europe! I’m going to London and Paris with my sister and my niece. I’m so excited to go on this adventure and I can’t wait to share it all with you guys on here!
I can’t wait to see Big Ben, the Eiffel Tower, drink coffee, eat croissants and just experience everything about these beautiful cities. This will be my first time out of the country in a while and the last time I was in Canada and I was much younger so this time will be a whole new experience.
The only thing I’m worried about is the long plane ride over the Atlantic ocean. I’ve been on planes before but not for this long and I do have a slight fear of flying. I’m sure I’ll be fine. I’ll just keep my anxious mind occupied by listening to music, reading some books, and taking naps.
What I’ll be reading on flight:
I have three books here because I haven’t decided which to read yet. Maybe I’ll be able to get through them all! I’m almost done “The Illuminati” now so maybe I’ll have time to finish it before I leave so there will be less to carry on the flight.
Another thing that has always helped me on flights is chewing gum. Chewing gum while on flight generates saliva, encouraging you to swallow which help to open up the Eustachian tubes in your ear which close and cause headaches during and after flights due to pressure.
In the end the main thing is to just relax and realize stressing out isn’t going to help the situation. So I’m gonna just relax, get some reading done, and probably take a great nap.
I’m looking forward to this trip and the closer it gets the more excited I get. It’ll be here before I know it and I will be at a Parisian Cafe sipping a mimosa with my sister and my niece.
