No Need to Rush

Lately, I have been feeling very impatient with my own future. Part of me can’t wait to see where my life goes and what direction I’m going to go in. We all get so caught up in getting to the next step that we forget to enjoy the place that we are in right now. Sometimes we even get frustrated because getting to the next step is taking so much longer than we originally expected. It’s important to think about the next step and work hard to get there and to never give up, but it’s also really important to stop and take a breath and realize you are doing all you can and that you have so much time to do everything you want.Don't Rush (2).JPG

Honestly, this was hard for me to realize my first year out of High School. I thought because I’m not going to college like my friends and because I only have a part-time job that they all looked down on me and that I wasn’t going to go anywhere. You have to understand I can be pretty pessimistic. Nonetheless, I told myself I would get through it, I would get more hours, I would get more followers here on my blog. I would spend more time doing the things I love to do. It’s been over a year since and I feel more accomplished every single day. Don't Rush.JPG

Life really is about taking it one day at a time and realizing you have all the time in the world to do what you want (this doesn’t mean wait to do what you want though, start now if it’ll make you happy) . It’s not too late and you’re not behind schedule. Everyone has enough time in their life to accomplish their goals and live a happy life. Don't Rush (4).JPG

It’s okay to want better for yourself and even to stress about it every once in a while, stress is normal, but remember to celebrate where you are and to still have fun even though you’re working hard too. Balance is so essential. It’s okay to have anxiety or stress but learn to let it go because you are doing all you can.

Thank you for reading my post. I really hope you enjoyed it and I hope you give it a like and share it with your friends/ family. Check out the rest of my blog for more posts and follow for more content.
