1 Year Anniversary| What I’ve Learned

It has been one year since I posted my first on Genney Darling. A lot has happened since then and I have gained 200 followers and hopefully this number continues to grow. I am so glad I started my blog, even though it’s not my full time job (yet) I have learned a lot from writing for you guys and sharing my style. If nothing else my style has improved drastically.  Anniversary

Having a style blog has made me more conscious of what I wear everyday, even when it’s not for a blog post. I used to wear t-shirts and jeans everyday…no joke. I know it’s hard to believe but I had no style before I started doing this and even if my blog doesn’t become my full time career I am so grateful for it because of how much I’ve learned from it. Also I’ve gotten better at posing and actually showcasing each outfit. Improvement

Something I also learned is that not all great blogs will get 1,000 views on their first day. It can take a lot of time for people to notice your blog…especially if you don’t have the time to post every single day. Even though it’s not as easy as it looks sometimes it’s super easy and it just comes natural. Like everything else we have good days and bad days. Life is all about not getting frustrated when all these little things happen and just powering through despite all the struggles. The struggles make it so much more worth it.

These past two weeks I have been taking a break but I plan to return to posting at least once a week. I love blogging and it;s important to me. I will have another post up tomorrow for you all so look forward to it it’ll be my one year anniversary #ootd. I’m very excited for it and I hope you all like it….come back tomorrow.

Thank you for reading and being a follower of Genney Darling. If you are not a follower yet you can become one very easily look in the sidebar or down below for a follow button.

Thank you all for being a part of this journey. cropped-gdarling.png
